Russian Winter Egg

Inspired by the Russian tradition of cloisonné enamelling, a lead crystal shell has been hand carved and hand painted in an ornate design. The rich enamels portray the colors found in the folkworks of the countryside.

On opening the Egg, the a sparkling Winter snow scene is set by two Russian peasant children. One is seated on a vermeil troika, while the other holds his pet Saluki dog.
